Getting a new electricity connection from LESCO (Lahore Electric Supply Company) has now become easier through the Electricity New Connection (ENC) System. Whether you need a connection for your home, shop, office, industry, or agricultural purpose, you can apply online by following a few simple steps.

How to Apply for LESCO New Connection
Applying for a new connection involves filling out an online form, attaching required documents, and submitting it to your nearest LESCO office. Below is the complete process:
Step 1: Visit the ENC System
Go to the Electricity New Connection (ENC) online portal and start your application.
Step 2: Fill in the Application Form
While submitting the online form, you need to provide the following details:
- Select Connection Type: Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, Tube well, Temporary, General Services, Residential Colonies, Street Light
- Enter National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN) (if applicable)
- Select your Distribution Company (choose LESCO if you live in Lahore)
- Select your Sub-Division
- Choose Application Status: Owner or Renter
- Provide Applicant Information:
- Name, Father’s Name, CNIC Number, Address, Mobile Numbers, Email (optional)
- Contact Person details (Name, Relation, Mobile Number, Address)
- Enter Premises Details: Neighbor’s Bill Reference Number, Neighbor’s Name and Address
- Choose Meter Installation Company (e.g., Shahid & Co or Sajjad Brothers)
- Mention number of meters already installed and the minimum load (in KWh)
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
You must upload scanned copies of the following documents in JPG/PDF format (under 300KB each):
- Proof of Property Ownership: Registry, Farred, Baynama, or Allotment Letter (attested by Oath Commissioner, Notary Public, or Class-1 Officer)
- Undertaking on Stamp Paper: Stating no other connection exists and no dues are pending (must be attested by Oath Commissioner)
- Power of Attorney (if multiple owners are involved)
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from owner (if applicant is a tenant)
- Attested CNIC copy of applicant
- Attested CNIC copies of two witnesses (not required for single-phase meter)
- Neighbor’s electricity bill copy
Step 4: Submit the Application
- After completing the form and uploading documents, submit your application online.
- Take a printout of your submitted form.
- Attach all required documents with the printed application.
- Submit the file to your nearest LESCO office.
Step 5: Verification & Demand Notice
- LESCO will verify your documents.
- A Demand Notice will be issued after successful verification.
- Pay the Demand Notice fee at the mentioned bank.
- Submit the paid copy back to the LESCO office.
Step 6: Installation of Connection
After confirmation of payment, the concerned office will process your request, and your LESCO new electricity connection will be installed.
Important Notes for Applicants
- Distribution Companies (DISCOs) have the right to reject or cancel a new connection request at any stage if the applicant is found to be a defaulter.
- Incomplete or unclear applications will not be processed.
- Submitting fake documents will lead to cancellation and possible legal action.
